My morning strolls in the garden have brought me and my camera lens in contact not only with snails and slugs, but also with long-legged insects called crane flies.
With each leg placed on a different parsley leaf, the insect seemed to enjoy its position and let itself be photographed without moving.
I have an abundance of parsley and no longer harvest from the plant in the photo, so I am not concerned about other creatures enjoying it.
This is my contribution to edition #128 of Black and White Wednesday - A Culinary Photography Event created by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook, now organized by Cinzia of Cindystar, and hosted this week by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook.
The photo was shot in color with my iPhone and then converted to sepia (Lightroom preset Sepia Tone).
The gallery of images contributed to the event.
Beautiful creature, so delicate. Apparently someone else likes parsley, too. I'm glad there is plenty to share.
Thanks, Simona, for your very fine BWW photograph.

Plenty of parsley to satisfy all creatures, Susan. My pleasure, as always :)
