Lucia

grazie Simona, mi piacerebbe partecipare ancora, speriamo in un'ispirazione! Un abbraccio

Simona Carini

Faccio il tifo per l'ispirazione allora, Lucia.

Helen

Ooh, what a fabulous idea! I'm currently reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver, and almost every page references some delicious Mexican food or other. Yum!
(Just remembered that I did make cinnamon buns inspired by the "boozls" in my DD's Goldilocks book - http://family-friends-food.com/cinnamon-buns-raisins-maple-syrup-glaze/

Elizabeth

I've linked up a recipe I created for another novel food event not so long ago - mediaeval horsebread inspired by Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth - I hope you like it :)

Simona Carini

Hi Helen and thanks for stopping by. It sounds like you have already identified your literary inspiration. I hope you will join the event.

I have seen a few scenes of the movie based on that novel, Elizabeth: a fascinating story.

Important: Thanks to both Helen's and Elizabeth's comment, I clarified that the post should be published within the time frame of the event.

Deb in Hawaii

And here I am ducking in just under the deadline as usual! ;-)
Some jam inspired by Elizabeth is Missing, a debut novel by Emma Healey. Thanks for hosting Simona!

Simona Carini

Thank you so much, Deb!

Rachel

Aw nuts - missed the deadline! Totally my bad but I'll try to do (much) better next time!! Thinking of you, my friend...

Dear Rachel, do not be hard on yourself. I missed you but I understand life is not always amenable to our best laid plans. There is always the next edition. Have a great summer.

Cara Sandra. Non sono molto brava in area marketing :( Comunque, non ti crucciare: Sono molto affezionata a questo evento e conto di continuare ad ospitarlo. La prossima edizione sara' a Settembre e ti avvertiro' per email cosi' siamo sicure.
