They are pretty and very good. They are my most recent creation in the scone department. They are a bit tender and a bit crisp, fruit-sweetened and lovingly baked. They are just about perfect.
I submitted the recipe to a contest and you can find it on this page.
This is my contribution to edition #102 of Black and White Wednesday - A Culinary Photography Event created by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook, now organized by Cinzia of Cindystar, and hosted this week by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook.
The photos were shot in color and then converted to sepia (Lightroom preset Split Tone 1).
This post contains the gallery of images contributed to the event.
Beautiful presentation! Beautiful bundle!

The scones look yum Simona. They must be so delish with that spice mix and roasted apple sauce. I'm sure you will win the contest :)

Thanks Susan. They are currently my scones of choice. Once you have the ingredients available, the dough comes together while the oven warm up, so they are perfect when I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to preparing breakfast.
