I love that your blog is bilingual! (By the way, feta cheese got its name because it’s traditionally served in slices. You may have already known that, still, feta or fetta is yet another word Italians and Greeks have in common).
I miss Greece, my home country (even though it’s in a lot of trouble these days), and I miss Europe as a whole. There is something about European air and scenery that nourishes the soul.

Dear Ana, I so wish I could send you a slice through cyberspace! Wouldn't it be great: click and ship (no packaging needed). Fetta is actually a word a like a lot: it just sounds perfect to indicate a portion of food, so I think the choice of feta to describe a cheese is also perfect. Italy is also not doing well and I am really anxious about the upcoming elections. It is a time when I'd like to be there.

Ciao Martissima. Il burro noisette (o nocciola) e' burro caramellato, per cosi' dire. Si prepara facilmente facendo fondere il burro. Vedi questo esempio: io pero' non lo passo.
