When photographing, we try to capture light, to tell a story using light. The stories below are connected to food, so they speak a universal language. Many thanks to all who illuminated my week by contributing their images to edition #55 of Black and White Wednesday - A Culinary Photography Event. And a big thank you to Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook who created the event and to Cinzia of Cindystar who is now organizing it.
Enjoy the show!

Thanks so much for this super gallery and your hospitality! :-)
But to tell you the truth ... I suppose Pinocchio is lying as usual, how can he resist to chocolate? I do love it so much! :-)

Oh, Pinocchio doesn't love chocolate, nor do you! And I don't like it either! I love your photo!

Thank you, Haalo, Paz and Cinzia!
Molly, I have not decided whether to believe that Pinocchio tells the truth or not. I actually love chocolate, the extra dark kind. I was born very close to the old Perugina factory, so I think it was kind of inevitable.

Beautiful gallery of culinary images, Simona! Thanks for hosting! A piece of dark chocolate each day is supposed to be beneficial for health. Pinocchio should reconsider!

Thank you, Lynne. I have been on a piece of dark chocolate a day diet for a long time and I totally agree with you. Let's hope Pinocchio will change attitude.
