I am not the only living creature that loves kale. I focused on the snail and it was only when I looked at the image on the screen that I saw the spider.
Kale grows abundant in my garden, not only in the vegetable portion of it. The plant in the photo grew in a section where in the spring we added some compost from my pile that contained kale seeds. I let the kale grow as it wished, since I was not planning to harvest it. Some garden critters enjoy it as much as we do.
This is my contribution to edition #54 of Black and White Wednesday - A Culinary Photography Event created by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook, now organized by Cinzia of Cindystar, and hosted this week by Lynne of Cafe Lynnylu.
This post contains the gallery of images contributed to the event.
The photo was shot in color and then converted to black and white.
On this page, you can find out who is hosting the current and future editions of the event. Preview: the next edition will be hosted here at briciole.
I agree with the snail and spider-I love kale, too! Thanks for submitting your lovely black and white image to BWW #54!

Fortunately, there is plenty of it for everybody, humans and other creatures.
