The original plan was to post the details of how to make the heart-shaped cheese (formaggio a forma di cuore) above today, but I had and have other tasks to attend to and so, in the meantime, I am sharing a photo to whet your appetite (far venire l'acquolina in bocca).
And since today is heart day, here is another heart-shaped cheese from last year
You can see other heart-shaped dishes on the Valentine hearts page of Very Good Recipe.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Beautiful-looking and very delicious, I'm sure! Happy Valentine's Day!

It looks lovely! I gave Paul a heart-shaped cheese for Valentine's Day this year again. Not home made!

Thanks, Paz! Same to you. It is actually very nice, fresh-tasting and light. We've been eating it on bread, crackers and also scones.
Ciao Alicia. A very nice gift, to be sure. Happy Valentine's Day!

What an unusual combination, dukkah and cocoa nibs. It must be truly delicious.

For someone who is never at a loss for words, the only one I can think of is WOW! This is probably the most creative valentine I have seen this year.

Ciao Caffettiera. It works and the top is to spread the cheese on pumpkin scones flavored with ginger and curry.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Jill. Heart-shaped cheese is indeed a pretty thing to put on the table.
