Susan

Pretty, Simona. You have motivated me to go back and look at some of my root vegetable shots which are in color that I never published.

Thank you for joining in Black and White Wednesday. : )

Caffettiera

Interesting event. I never took pictures in black and white as well, quite a challenge indeed since food photography is all about colour to me.

Ciao Susan. It was a pleasant surprise to see how well it worked. Root vegetables have interesting shapes and surfaces, which makes them good b/w subjects.

Ciao Caffettiera. Yes, so this photo is no longer about the various colors of the carrots but about their shape and the texture of the surface. It is challenging for me too to shift focus from color. My first love is actually nature photography.

Paz

I love this photo is B&W! Great idea to make it so. ;-)

Simona Carini

I am glad you like the photo, Paz. I am planning to participate again, so there will be more in the near future.
